Myers Briggs Type Indicator®  - MBTI Step I & II


The MBTI personality types instrument provides an insightful framework for individual and group development. A popular tool for senior executive coaching and coaching teams, it describes personality in a positive way enabling individuals to appreciate their strengths whilst recognising the value of personality types different from their own.

The MBTI personality types instrument sorts individuals into psychological ‘types’ so that they can identify how they are similar to some people and different to others.

MBTI personality types is a versatile tool for coaching, it can be used to help in issues such as communication and influencing, problem solving, team development, leadership and career development.

The MBTI Step I report describes an individual's psychological type on four dichotomies and provides a common language around how we interact with the world and each other.  The following are the four dichotomies on which the analysis is based:
